It’s a great free alternative, but I do have to say there is nothing like a paid anti-virus software.
I tried this software a while back and it worked decently, but made my computer go too slow when I scanned my computer.

In my opinion, Avira is a good antivirus, better than most payed ones out there. Imagine you pay $40 for something that doesn’t work, when you can get this for free.
And i know what i’m talking about, i’ve tried almost all top antiviruses out there: Norton, Nod32, Kasperky, etc. and they were either weak or resource feeders.

I think that Avira is a good Antivirus, it’s free and makes its job perfectly. It’s a good alternative if you won’t give your money for an Antivirus.
